Dear Poplar Bluff Community,
On behalf of the Associates, clinicians and volunteers at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center (PBRMC), we want to take this opportunity to tell you what a privilege it is to serve this community. For many years, caring for the wonderful people that call Poplar Bluff home has been the focus of what we do as professionals and who we are as individuals. Each and every day, our hospital’s commitment to provide healthcare of the highest quality grows even stronger and we thank you for the trust you place in our organization.
Today, we find ourselves with an even greater opportunity to serve. We hope you’ve heard that this community will soon have a new state-of-the-art, $170 million hospital that will transform our region’s healthcare delivery system. The new PBRMC will provide new medical services and attract new physicians to our community, allowing you to stay close to home for all your healthcare needs.
We believe that our choice to locate the new hospital at Eight Points will significantly benefit this community: Oak Grove Road will be widened, enhancing safety for our elementary and middle school; a new interchange will be built at Bypass 67; and a new intersection will be added at Business 67 and Oak Grove Road. The Eight Points development represents one of the largest infrastructure projects in Southeast Missouri and it helps Poplar Bluff regain its stature as an economic hub in the region. It will truly be a transforming event for this community … at a time when we really need it.
We are thankful for the tremendous outpouring of support this important development has received. This week, more than 30 community leaders – ranging from our Mayor to the Chief of Police and many others – traveled to Jefferson City to show their support for our hospital and our community. We’re working together today to ensure this vision is realized.

We know you have a choice in health care. We are committed to being your first choice as a healthcare provider and community partner. PBRMC is focused on building on the strengths of the past and addressing areas worthy of improvement as we move into the future.
Thank you for supporting Poplar Bluff and PBRMC.
